DBS Applicant Consent Form
To tie-in with the Result Snapshot facility available for clear DBS results, we have also added a facility for users to upload a copy of a DBS certificate for content applications. This facility has been approved by the DBS and will only be available to users that have been granted the privilege of uploading/viewing certificates.

Having this facility will mean that you can have full access to an applicant’s DBS result online by having the Result Snapshot available for clear applications and the ability to upload the DBS certificate presented by the applicant on content applications.
Before an applicant’s content DBS certificate can be uploaded to their application, their consent must be obtained to comply with DBS policy. A sample ‘Applicant Consent Form’ is available for you to download below should you wish to use it.
Ability to upload certificate for DBS applications with ‘Content’
Once the tick-box has been selected on the online DBS application form application to confirm consent has been obtained you will have the facility to select the required file to upload (if you have been granted access).
Once uploaded, the certificate will be available to view until the application is archived after 180 days. In accordance with the DBS Code of Practice, once it has been archived you will no longer have access to it.
Please note however, the certificate can be removed at any time after it has been uploaded and will only be view-able by users that have been granted that privilege.
