Once your account is set-up we will email you instructions on how you can request Employee Credit Checks.
A summary of the Employee Credit Check order process is as follows:
Step 1: Obtain Applicant (candidate) Consent:
Obtain Applicant (candidate) Consent by asking your applicant to complete the Employee Credit Check Applicant Consent form (we provide you with this).
Step 2: Complete and Submit an online Employee Credit Check Request form:
Enter the applicant’s details onto our secure online Employee Credit Check Order Form and submit this to us.

- New Customers: We will provide you with access to the Employee Credit Check Order Form when you create an account with us
- Existing Customers: Please contact us to request access to the Employee Credit Check Order Form
You will need to provide the following information on the Employee Credit Check Order Form:
- Title
- Full Current Name (including any middle names)
- Date of Birth
- Current address
On receipt of your completed online Employee Credit Check Order Form, we will carry out the Employee Credit Check.
Our Employee Credit Check will check and provide information on the following:
- County Court Judgment (CCJ) Records or Scottish equivalent
- Bankruptcy / Individual Voluntary Arrangement Records or Scottish equivalent
- Correction Orders / Disputes
- Financial Data (number of active accounts & loans held by the individual)
- Electoral Roll Registration History
- Residence Confirmation

The result will be issued to you by email as an Employee Credit Check report (in PDF format), within 24 hours* of a request being received by us (*excluding weekends or public holidays).
4. The Law
The information provided on the Employee Credit Check electronic summary report is personal data and is strictly regulated by Law.
You need to ensure you comply with the Data Protection Act.
In brief:
- You must obtain candidate consent, in writing using the Consent Form we provide
- You should never allow anyone outside your organisation to have access to the information we provide
- You should never search anyone without a valid reason (and without their consent)
- You should never disclose any login details we provide to you to anyone else
- An Employee Credit Check should only be obtained if it is relevant to a candidate’s job or work role
5. What information will my candidate need to provide?
To conduct an online Employee Credit Check we’ll need the following information regarding your candidate (new recruit):
You will submit this to us via a secure, encrypted online form which we provide to you:
- Their Title (e.g: Mr, Mrs etc)
- Their Full Current Name (including any middle names) **to ensure an accurate credit check we strongly recommend you verify this with ID eg: Driving Licence or Passport
- Their Date of Birth
- Their Current Address, including Flat Number if applicable and postcode. This must be a UK address. **To ensure an accurate credit check we strongly recommend you ensure this matches the Royal Mail database: https://www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode
